ABOUT ASHLEIGH ADAMS
I am a second year graduate student at UC Davis interested in combinatorial algebraic geometry. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (UMN) where I did research in commutative and combinatorial algebra with Vic Reiner. My first undergraduate degree was in Vocal Performance at UMN. The time between degrees was spent living in Berlin, Germany, where I studied opera with Professor Norma Sharp at Hanns-Eisler Musik Hochschule. Following my time in Europe, I completed a coding bootcamp at General Assembly, NYC.
I am a 2020 NSF Graduate Research Fellow.
I will be attending the upcoming ICERM semester: Combinatorial Algebraic Geometry (Feb 1-May 7).
