ABOUT ASHLEIGH ADAMS
I am a first year graduate student at UC Davis interested in combinatorial algebraic geometry. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (UMN) where I did research in commutative and combinatorial algebra under Prof. Vic Reiner. My first undergraduate degree was in Vocal Performance at UMN. The time between degrees was spent living in Berlin, Germany, where I studied opera with Professor Norma Sharp at Hanns-Eisler Musik Hochschule. Following my time in Europe, I completed a coding bootcamp at General Assembly, NYC.
I am an 2020 NSF Graduate Research Fellow and will be pursuing a pure math PhD at UC Davis beginning Fall 2020.
I will be attending the upcoming ICERM semester: Combinatorial Algebraic Geometry (Feb 1-May 7).
